This Christmas Puppy Chow is incredible. I’ve made versions for parties, cookie boxes, and cozy nights in, and this one always disappears first. I learned early on that balance matters, the peanut butter should shine just as much as the chocolate, and salt is a must!
1 ½cups (378 grams)peanut butterI used Skippy (do not use natural)
4tablespoons (55 grams)salted butteradd an extra ⅛ teaspoon kosher salt if you do not have salted butter

Instructions
In a medium sized microwave safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips, peanut butter, salt, and butter. Microwave in 30-second increments, stirring well after each, until smooth and fully melted. Stir in the vanilla extract.
Place the Chex Rice Cereal in a large mixing bowl. Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the cereal. Gently fold with a spatula until all the cereal is evenly coated.
Transfer the chocolate coated cereal to a large resealable plastic bag or a large lidded container. Add the powdered sugar, seal the bag/container, and shake vigorously until all the cereal pieces are coated with powdered sugar.
Pour the coated cereal into a large serving bowl. Add the mini pretzels and Christmas M&Ms, and gently toss to combine. Mini peanut butter cups are amazing as an add in as well!
